- Who is the greatest (Luke 9:46; Isaiah 14:12-14; Psalm 18:35)
- Be childlike not childish (Luke 9:47; Isaiah 66:2; Colossians 3:12,14-15a)
- Put out the welcome mat (Luke 9:48; Philippians 2:7-8; Revelation 3:20)

Isaiah 14:12-14
12 How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world. 13 For you said to yourself, 'I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God's stars. I will preside on the mountain of the gods far away in the north. 14 I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.'
Psalm 18:35
35 You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great.
Luke 9:47
47 But Jesus knew their thoughts, so he brought a little child to his side.

Colossians 3:12,14-15a (Scripture)
12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.
Luke 9:48
48 Then he said to them, "Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest."
Philippians 2:7-8
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross.
Revelation 3:20
20 "Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.
