Scripture from NLT
Hebrews 4:12-16
12For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. 14So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.15This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.16So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
Revelation 1:16
16He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth.
Revelation 15:3
3Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations. 4All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.
Revelation 16:5,7
5You are just, O Holy One, who is and who always was, because you have sent these judgments. 7Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just.
Revelation 19:2
2His judgments are true and just. He has punished the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality. He has avenged the murder of his servants.
Revelation 20:11-12
11And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide.12I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.
Philippians 2:9-11
9God elevated him (Jesus) to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Hebrews 2:17
17It was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God.
Hebrews 3:1
1And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners with those called to heaven, think carefully about this Jesus whom we declare to be God's Apostle and High Priest.
John 20:17
17"Don't cling to me," Jesus said, "for I haven't yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
Matthew 9:36
36When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
